>Photography FAQ

>I'm a fan and would like to contribute an image, how do I do that?

>I'm a photographer and have an image I'd like to be used in exchange for a link.

We're keen to accept images for use on the site! Our rules are that the photo must not be posed or artifical and must be taken from areas of a venue that are publically accessible. VIP areas are OK, if VIP treatment is available for a fixed fee at the venue.

Importantly, you must promise that you own clear copyright in the images you send in.

Please send images to images@feelitlive.com.

>What does "Licence" imply?

This is the licence we accepted in order to allow us to use the photograph. Some licences imply rights that pass to the end user, most do not. In some cases these licences can also be obtained by you without negotiation, if you go back to the source.

>What does "Used with special permission" imply?

This means that the photograph was used with the permission of the copyright holder, through a negotiation or special arrangement. Often these are actually in house productions, or they have been sent in. No rights are available to these photographs without the explicit agreement of the copyright owner.

>What does "All rights reserved with exceptions" actually mean?

We claim the full protection of copyright law for most of the site, but are more than happy to draw attention to the fact that we are sometimes using images under licences that imply limited rights for you the user. When this happens, these words appear in the corner of the site layout. We have also highlighted these images in the table above.

>What rights are implied by a cc by-sa licence?

Our interpretation is that, in exchange for the right to compose the image alongside our factual content, the license permits the general public to benefit from our efforts to crop and resize it.

>Can I use your server to serve up cropped and resized images for my purposes?

No, and this will be treated as a case of computer misuse. We would consider offering assistance with your project under a commercial agreement.

>You're infringing my copyright!

We only use images where there is an explicit invitation to do so, but if you do feel aggrieved please email copyright@feelitlive.com and we'll look into it immediately.
