Welcome
Welcome to the alpha version of feelitlive.com, an exciting new way to find out what's happening near you.
The aim here is to provide you with the fastest possible answer to the question "what's on this week", or next week, or two weeks either side of your birthday, or the day of your first anniversary - and back it up with opportunities to explore artists work, see their faces and hear their tracks so you can decide if you're interested.
Who is the site for?
Unlike most music web sites this isn't a music industry creation, there's an understanding here that many people don't fit into existing music sub cultures, aren't all familiar with the latest hot bands, and don't relate to the obscure icons and motifs of particular genres. So instead of drenching you in hedonistic visuals, you get a clean simple site to help you explore.
What gets listed?
Like most sites, priority will go to well known acts, but feelitlive.com does not subscribe to PR hype. We seek to measure the genuine success and popularity of each act regardless of who is pushing them and list events regardless of whether the band has 10 albums out, or none at all.
Where do I sign?
You don't! No poking. No prodding. Your inside leg measurement stay's with you "the database" has no right to know. You don't need to register, won't be asked to upload your address book and are guaranteed to remain free of endless "do you want to be my friend" requests.
Music is a personal thing that reflects your attitudes and beliefs, your mood, sexuality, and politics, it reflects your state of mind and changes and develops as you explore and as you grow older. You won't be forced to share your musical tastes on this site.
So you don't do profiling?
There is a plan for all sorts of clever statistical analysis and AI in order to identify relationships between bands to help classify and link artists together. This analysis is likely to include clickstream data, but not personal profiles.
